Change Supply Cap
The supply cap dictates the total funds deposited into a specific market. Once this cap is reached, any additional deposits are redirected to other markets within the vault, as governed by the Supply Queue.
Changing supply cap can either be:
- Increase to cap: time-locked action that can be vetoed; requires manual execution.
- Decreases to cap: not time-locked; executed automatically.
1. Go to the 'Cap Management' page
Go the your vault's 'Cap Management' page.
It should look something like this.
2. Input a new Cap
In the market you'd like to change, input a new cap amount.
Click 'Confirm' to initiate the cap change.
3. Execute Transaction
This step only applies to increases to caps. If you are decreasing caps, the change will be executed automatically.
Only increasing a cap requires a time-lock. Decreases to caps are applied automatically so this step will not be necessary. In the example above, we are increasing the cap which requires a time-lock.
Once this has elapsed, click 'Accept' and the cap change will be applied.
You will now be able to allocate liquidity up to your new cap.
